Ciara Expecting Fifth Child With Russell Wilson
Singer and entertainer Ciara has announced that she is pregnant with her fifth child, marking her fourth baby with husband and NFL star Russell Wilson.
The 40-year-old music star shared the exciting news on Instagram on September 6, giving fans their first glimpse of her growing baby bump. Alongside the announcement, Ciara simply wrote, “One more person to Love.”
The couple’s growing family currently includes Sienna Princess, 9, Win Harrison, 6, and Amora Princess, 2, whom they share together. Ciara also has a 12-year-old son, Future Zahir, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
For the pregnancy reveal, Ciara and Wilson shared a series of outdoor photos and videos featuring four shirts displayed on a clothesline. Each shirt carried the name of one of their children — Future, Sienna, Win and Amora. A fifth baby outfit was also included but did not have a name on it, apparently leaving room for the couple to decide on a name for their newest addition.
The announcement comes only a few months after Russell Wilson openly discussed the possibility of having another child with Ciara.
During an interview with GistPlus at Fanatics Fest in July, the 37-year-old football star joked that he was trying to convince his wife to add a fifth child to their family.
The couple has now confirmed that the conversation appears to have gone exactly as hoped.
Following Ciara's pregnancy announcement, friends and fans quickly filled the comments with congratulatory messages. Actress and television personality La La Anthony was among those celebrating the news, calling the new baby another “beautiful blessing” and expressing her excitement to welcome another member of the family.
The pregnancy announcement also comes shortly after a major milestone for Ciara and Wilson, who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in July.
Ciara has previously spoken warmly about Wilson's role as a father, describing the experience of watching him care for their children as one of the qualities she finds most attractive about him.
For the couple, the arrival of their fifth child will mark another major chapter in their family journey as they prepare to welcome their newest little one.
